Staying Safe Online
E-safety is a big part of our curriculum, and all children are taught strategies and skills to help keep themselves safe whilst online. However, with technology evolving so rapidly and being given to younger and younger children, we are seeing a growing concern nationally. Recently, the Children’s Commissioner published a very detailed report on the impact of social media on 8-12 year olds. “A Life in Likes”, is a lengthy but excellent insight into children’s perceptions of their life in the digital age, and is recommended to all parents. The report can be found here.
