School Meals

We are fortunate to have all of our food cooked freshly on site in our purpose built kitchen by our fantastic Hampshire Caterers (HC3S). Each day there is a meat and vegetarian option for the children to choose from, and all food is nut free.  Fresh salad and bread rolls are also served daily.  If your child requires a special allergy/diet menu for medical reasons, please contact the school office for a form, or download it from www.hants.gov.uk/educationandlearning/hc3s/primaryschools/specialdiets

For lots of useful information about HC3S please visit their website www.hants.gov.uk/hc3s

At particular times of the year we have special celebration meals and menus – look out for further information in newsletters.  During the summer months we offer children a picnic box option, which, weather permitting, we can eat outside!  All age groups eat together in our hall, from Nursery to Y6.  This is important to us as we enjoy the social aspect of eating together.  We have a number of lunchtime supervisors on hand to help and encourage children whilst eating.  To see the lunch menu, please see the links at the bottom of this page.

Children order their meal daily each morning in the classroom. We are unable to allow debt to be accrued and ask that parents pay in advance for school meals; cheques and online payments are accepted. The school office can provide you with the log on details if you wish to take advantage of this.  Dinners are £3.00 per day/£15.00 per week.

Year R, 1 & 2 are entitled to Universal Infant Free School Meals.

Children are most welcome to bring a packed lunch if they would prefer.  We encourage the children to have a balanced healthy lunch, so please consider this when putting together packed lunches; we do not accept chocolate bars or sweets.  Because of allergies, please ensure packed lunches do not contain nuts.  We also have pupils in school with other food allergies, so could you please explain to your child that they must not share their lunch.
